Lighthouse Christian Academy is a homeschool ministry for the children of MBBC members.
This ministry started in 2005 with the objective and commitment to promote Christian education by extending Biblical values and academic excellency to the daily learning experience of our children.
By the grace of God, our school's Godly principles and high Biblical and academic standards reinforce the faith and Christian values taught at home and at church. Together, we prepare our children to be the light of the world and to pursue the call The Lord has for their lives.
Our desire is to see our students grow in true academic knowledge, while building a Christ-like character in a family atmosphere, where the Word of God is our foremost and most appreciated source of wisdom and knowledge.
In addition to following the ACE curriculum, we have daily devotions and prayer, weekly chapel, daily scripture memorization, field trips, monthly merit shops, parent-teacher meetings, daily computer activities which include the learning of French, weekly French conversation sessions, and Arts & Crafts for our younger students.
At the end of the school year we hold an award ceremony where students are acknowledged for their academic accomplishments and their demonstration of a Christ like character.
